BS in Geology, Southern Illinois University － Carbondale, IL, USA May 2008
I am a PhD student working with Dr. Allen Glazner to develop digital tools for field geologists and to understand the interplay of faults and fluids in the evolution of plutons. Specifically, I am interested in the sequence of mineralization within the faults and fracture networks associated with these intrusions. Prior to returning to academia, I worked as a geologist for a major petroleum company on the north slope of Alaska.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, climbing, and fishing.
