B.A., Geochemistry, University of Science and Technology of China, 2011-2015
Ph.D., Geological Sciences, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, current

I am a Ph.D. student working with Xiaoming Liu on understanding earth’s evolution, including oxygen changes in the atmosphere and ocean, paleoclimate reconstruction and implications of mass extinctions by measuring carbon isotope ratios in carbonates. I am also interested in studying chemical processes on the earth’s surface by using some trace elements, like metal isotopes. I also have done some research in organic geochemistry when I was an undergraduate student.

Outside school, I enjoy cooking, gardening, and photography, and I like all kinds of sports, badminton, soccer, and so on. I also go to the gym a lot, doing yoga and Zumba.
